Layla Wilkie-Buckley wins prize for best oral presentation.

Layla Wilkie-Buckley, a Research Associate of the Centre, has won the prize for best oral presentation at the Voice of Humanities conference organised by the Graduate School at Cardiff. Layla, who graduated from Cardiff Law School with a First last summer, is currently studying for a PhD at the School of Religious and Theological Studies at Cardiff in the area of spiritual care.


Mark Hill on BBC Radio 4's Law in Action programme

On 4 March 2008, Professor Mark Hill participated in a broadcast debate
on BBC Radio 4's Law in Action programme along with the Bishop of
Winchester and a representative of the Elim Pentecostal Church. They
discussed the abolition of the law of blasphemy and the scope and effect
of new crimes of inciting religious hatred.
