Equality Commission Cites Cardiff Work

The 'Human Rights Review 2012', which has just been published by the Equality and Human Rights Commission, cites work by Dr Russell Sandberg, lecturer in Law at Cardiff.
Dr Sandberg's most recent book, 'Law and Religion' published by Cambridge University Press in 2011, is cited in the chapter on Article 9. The chapter follows the suggestion made by Dr Sandberg (amongst others) that the when deciding Article 9 cases courts and tribunals should focus more on the question of justification under Article 9(2) than on the question of interference under Article 9 (1).
