Sir John Owen
The Centre for Law and Religion is sad to note the death of Sir John Owen in December 2010. A Retired High Court Judge and Dean of Arches, Sir John has been central to the development of the study of law and religion at Cardiff.
Sir John was one of the first students on the LLM in Canon Law, became the President of the Friends of the Centre and presided over the annual LLM in Canon Law at Magdalen College, Oxford. He will be much missed.
